Newly Renovated
January 2018: We have just come to the end of updating our whole apartment. The roof of the building was being renewed during late fall ’17 so we took the opportunity to do some work on the apartment during that time. The carpet has been removed and replaced with large format porcelain tile. The master bathroom has had the old bath step up tub replaced by a lovely walk-in shower. Custom made suspended vanities have been installed in each bathroom. The kitchen has been opened up more to the living area by removing some overhead cabinets and the remaining cabinets painted white to take advantage of the extra light we get from being an end unit. At the same time we have had the TV console surround painted white to brighten up the living room. The master bedroom has been laid with a wooden floor, so comfortable with bare feet, and the walk-in closet has had new shelving installed. We live here ourselves for a couple of months each year so we want the apartment to reflect our own standards and preferences. We hope that our guests will appreciate the difference.
The Apartment
The Floorplan
At a generous 1710 sq ft this is on of the largest condos in the resort making it extremely comfortable for even the longest stay.
Entering the foyer from the hallway you find the master bedroom to the right and the guest bedroom to the left. That separation gives all guests the maximum privacy.
The utility room has a washer and dryer for all your laundry needs.
The dining area is between the open plan kitchen and the living room and seats four comfortably.
Behind the kitchen is the nook for a quiet breakfast for two, a place to sit to and read or just to enjoy watching the sunset over the gulf.
The lanai can be reached from either the living area or the master bedroom.
The Foyer
Walking in, there is a closet on your right for beach equipment.
The corridor to the right goes to the Master Bedroom and the corridor to the left goes to the Guest Bedroom.
Ahead of you and to the right is the door to the utility room and at the far end is the dining area and kitchen.
The Master Bedroom
With its walk in closet, en-suite bathroom and sliding door access to the lanai this is island living at its best. Wake up to the rays of the rising sun or draw the blackout drapes and sleep straight through until you are ready for breakfast in bed with a view of the lagoon. It’s your vacation, spoil yourself.
The Master Bathroom
Spacious and comfortable with walk-in shower, twin sink floating vanity and toilet.
Guest Bedroom
Two twin beds, a 32″ TV, a view over the gulf and new pull-down blackout shades to ensure a comfortable nights sleep. The guest bathroom is right next door.
Guest Bathroom
Regular bathtub and shower head. Single sink vanity and toilet.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is fitted with all new appliances and is completely equipped with all the cooking utensils you could possibly want.
The Nook
Call it the Nook or the Breakfast Room, it’s your choice. If you prefer a quiet breakfast tete-a-tete or to sit quietly and read the paper, meditate or just enjoy watching the sun set into the gulf. It’s yours to do as you please.
The Dining Room
Plenty of room for four seated in great comfort.
Being an end unit means not just a quieter environment but also much more living space and daylight.
Living Room
Comfortable couches and a Lazee-Boy reclining armchair to pass an evening with one of dozens of channels on the 48″ TV.
The Lanai
The lanai is a Florida institution. This one is set up to give you the best of all worlds. First it is screened against bugs. Then sliding glass doors can be opened to enjoy the warm breezes in winter. Slide them close to keep out the rain from a storm or to enjoy the view from the more comfortable air-conditioning in summer. Too hot and bright for an afternoon nap on the lounger, draw the vertical cellular blinds to give a pleasant subdued light. An evening meal in the warm air with the background of lights reflected off the lagoon, how much romance can you take?

The Dock
Just below the apartment and attached to the walkway around the lagoon is our boat slip. Rent a boat or bring your own to enjoy all the pleasures of exploring the inland waterway or through Big Pass to the open Gulf.
